OUTFRONT Trivia Moments
Interactive DOOH
Overview:
In partnership with the NYC Landmarks60 Alliance, I led the creative development of Trivia Moments—a seven-month interactive campaign that transformed OUTFRONT’s digital transit network into a citywide competition ahead of the 60th anniversary of New York City’s Landmarks Law.
Every day, New Yorkers encountered fresh trivia questions about the city’s history, culture, and architecture across digital screens in all five boroughs, including entrances and platforms throughout the MTA system. Dynamic QR codes allowed audiences to join the game, earn points, and climb digital leaderboards displayed in real-time—including in the heart of Times Square. Weekly winners earned unlimited transit rides, turning the campaign into a playful, communal ritual woven into daily commutes.
More than just entertainment, Trivia Moments showcased the power of DOOH to educate, connect, and celebrate civic pride at scale. It was designed to spark curiosity, brighten routines, and deepen awareness of the city’s rich architectural and cultural legacy—reminding millions of riders that the subway is more than a means of travel; it’s a shared space where culture and community come to life.
